Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) and Boots Riley (Coup) have teamed up with Carl Restivo, Eric Gardner and Dave Gibbs to form Street Sweeper Social Club,a club fans are clamoring to be a part of. Street Sweeper Social Club performed at Pointfest 25 to a crowd full of dedicated fans of Tom Morello. One fan even claimed Morello to be God.
Front man Boots Riley’s lyrical command and assured swagger are a perfect fit for Tom Morello’s guitar mastery. Fans stood mesmerized as Morello played one blazing solo with his teeth.
The combination of Street Sweeper Social Club’s rocking, thought-provoking music and coordinated uniforms are a refreshing package and stand our among many less-original bands today. Street Sweeper Social Club is a great live band not to be missed!
